Thank you very much for visiting my Minor in Writing Gateway portfolio! My name is Evan Stern, and I am originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor majoring in Economics and minoring in Writing.
Since I began my college career as a freshman, I have deeply enjoyed the writing I've gotten the chance to do both inside and outside of the classroom. One of my favorite experiences has been working as a columnist on The Michigan Daily, our student-run newspaper on campus.
In addition to writing, some of my favorite things to do in my free time include spending time outside and taking nature photos (feel free to see some here).
